unusual coloured eyes

I was told brown eyes are common, and eyes like green and blue are uncommon. does this mean people with uncommon eyes see something we don't? is there something special about them.

Probably not. I was told heterchromia iridum is rare but almost everyone in my family has it (it is what most people call hazel eyes, eyes that change color or have multiple colors like Brown with green flecks). I think the idea that a certain eye color is rare is an opinion based on your location on the planet and the people you interact with. The area of the U.S. that I live in, blue eyes are rare, but when I lived in another place 2000 miles east in the U.S. I was the only fair skinned person who did not have blue eyes. I think the differences that people see are more dependent on their brain and how it works than on the color of their eyes.
