I have only one theory behind having a dream of an apocalypse....Sometimes dreaming of an apocalypse would leave you to feel different soon after waking up from having this dream...like a part of you had changed. Something within you had died off. If you get this feeling after having this kind of dream, then it is represented as something called an Ego Death. Some part of your own self, thus your own identity, had changed.
