Nature is so powerful, so strong.
Capturing its essence is not easy - your work becomes a dance with light and the weather.
It takes you to a place within yourself.
The reason lightning doesn't strike twice in the same place is that the same place isn't there the second time.
Each kind of tree is a sort of musical instrument:
the apple a cello, the old oak a bass viol, the cypress a harp, the willow a flute, the young pine a muted violin.
Put your ear close to the whispering branch and you may catch what it is saying.
Empty yourself of everything.
Let the mind become still.
The ten thousand things rise and fall while the Self watches their return.
They grow and flourish and then return to the source.
Returning to the source is stillness, which is the way of nature.
Wonderful how completely everything in wild nature fits into us, as if truly part and parent of us.
