Aw, such a heart warming picture- three beautiful, classy young ladies. The picture is obviously posed, taken at a studio back when photography studios were more common. I'm thinking this family had a family portrait done every year. It was a special event. You are one of the little girls. The deceased women is your mother if I'm not mistaken, and you miss her very much. I get a sense of earthiness- the greens and the browns. The younger sister is happy-go-lucky. The older sister feels the weight of responsibility even at that early age. I could say more, but if I'm wrong I don't want to dig myself in too deep.
