Interesting. I have never been introduced to Vedic astrology. I found it odd though. My birth was at the end of may and the only line in the Taurus description that fits me is "This position of Sun also gives dissatisfaction from spouse so not favorable for marriage." The description of Gemini fits me more accurately and is very similar to the Western astrology description of Gemini, though the dates are different. I know a small amount about western astrology and it seems more complicated than just the sun sign. There are influences of other planets and the moon.

Oh, the thing you're talking about, has a lot to do with numerology. Recently I, for example, read an article about the zodiac sign Pisces, and learned that my magic number is 1. I always liked this number, and I even read an article about its magical properties. I don't know why, but when I play cards and I come across 1, I always win the party, it is very strange, but it works) Sometimes I even think to visit the casino and play roulette there )

Magic numbers can be based on a person's date of birth. The person's date of birth holds energy/power and any combination of a person's number, example........11....1....2, or 6......3 or 13......3.....4.
When numbers keep appearing can indicate the universe is talking to you. Appearing the number 11, this person has some matters to deal with once done then the 11 acts like a doorway/portal to enter. The 11 is a high vibration (Master Number) if someone has entered a year cycle of 11, then that person, if not ready to handle that high energy will be stressed out.
To find personalized year cycle example...........Sept 1 1992.......this person would still be running a year cycle of 2018 till they have their birthday in September 2019...........birthday to birthday, not calendar of January 1. When you were born you had a whole year till you had your birthday, so the energy would flow from birthday to birthday. In my example the person is still running a year cycle of 2018 so year cycle would be.........21/3 and at his birthday month he would shift energy for 2019 to.......22/4.

In astrology, the astrologer would view the aspects between planets, his and hers thus 3 charts are done. I would view her Chiron to his Venus, for long term relationship, then her Juno to his Venus for love, sexual relationship. There are other aspects to view as well, how the planets enter act with each other/ houses those planets are in etc.
